2 desserts...yummmmmy..

These are 2 desserts I'm planning to make once I get this kitchen in order...insha Allah

Peanut Butter Cookies (for kids)

2 handfuls soft butter or margarine (1 stick) 1 handful of brown sugar 1 handful of sugar 1 egg 3 handfuls of peanut butter 1 palm of vanilla 5 handfuls of flour 1 palm of baking soda 1 pinch of salt
In a bowl, mix the soft butter or margarine, brown sugar and sugar together with your hand. Add in the egg, peanut butter and vanilla. Then add the flour, baking soda and salt. Mix all this together with your hand.
Prepare a cookie sheet, by spreading shortening all over it or using a cooking spray. Take a palm of the cookie mix and put on the cookie sheet. Pat each cookie into a circle shape. With an adult's help, put the cookies in the oven at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Have an adult remove them from the oven. Let cool. Makes 36 cookies.

Summer Time Dessert

1 lb. bag Oreo cookies1 stick (1/2 cup) melted margarine2/3 cup semi-sweet morsels1 stick (1/2 cup) margarine1 1/2 cup (13 oz. can) evaporated milk2 cup 10X sugar (fine powdered sugar)1 tsp. vanilla1/2 gallon ice cream (vanilla or chocolate)Crush cookies and combine with melted margarine. Press into 9x13 inch greased pan and refrigerate. In a saucepan, melt the morsels and remaining margarine. Gradually add the milk and sugar and boil for 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Cool for about 10-15 minutes. Slice and spread ice cream over crust. Pour cooled chocolate mixture over ice cream and freeze.
